What Is Ellman Surgitron High RF?
Electrical current, in one form or another, has been applied to human tissues as a surgical modality for over 100 years. Most electrosurgical units operate from 200 to 1000 kHz. The electrodes on these devices become hot and cauterise the tissue they come into contact with, causing heat damage to the surronding tissue. High frequency radiosurgery, above 1,500kHz (1.5 MHz), transmits pure radiowaves to the tissue without heating the electrode. The Surgitron's patented technology uses the frequencies of 1.7MHz-4.0MHz which is a pure radiosignal range. Absorption of this frequency is by the water component of cells and "cuts" the tissue with minimal alteration to the surrounding cells. Ellman’s technology has received worldwide acclaim and recognition from leading surgeons, clinics, and universities.

What are the benefits of Cosmetic Radio-Surgery?
- Minimal (if any) post operative discomfort
- No bleeding
- Minimal risk of scarring
- Enhanced healing
- Excellent cosmetic results
- Minimal damage to surrounding skin
Which Areas Can Be Treated?
Lesions which can be treated include moles, skin tags, warts, seborrhoiec keratoses and other raised growths. Surgitron is also successful in treating facial spider veins.
What Does this Treatment Cost?
The cost of Surgitron treatment varies depending on the number and size of the skin lesions removed, but would typically be between NZ$180 and NZ$500.
